Private Residence, Budock Water

An existing barn conversion in Budock Water in the setting of the Grade II* Listed St Budock Parish Church. The house consisted of reverse-level accommodation which provided fantastic loft-style living space but lacked a connection to the garden and terrace. 

Our brief was to provide ground-floor living accommodation and a new master bedroom suite via a wrap-around extension. We designed the extension with granite facings to match the original barn. It also incorporated modern claddings with south-facing glazing that seamlessly blended with the courtyard garden and the historic Churchtown setting.
