Treviades Barton, Constantine

Koha was commissioned by the client to obtain consent for a replacement porch to a Grade II* Listed Building outside at High Cross, near Constantine. The client required improved daylighting to the porch and better passive surveillance which required the demolition of the heavy granite walled existing porch.

The application required liaison with English Heritage and the local Conservation Officer. The result is a traditional design that utilises an oak frame that sits on hand-worked granite staddle stones with a traditional lead sheet roof over a wood cored roll.
